Barbra Ann (Healy) Adams, 74, passed away March 2, 2023, following a seven-year battle with ovarian cancer. Her husband Ron Adams was by her side at their home in Sacramento, Calif. The Adams own Sacramento For Tractors, a single-store Kubota dealer in Sacramento and have been members and supporters of Far West Equipment Dealers Association (FWEDA) since 1969 when Ron’s father, Harold, purchased the dealership from Ford.

Barbra was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Mary Healy of Citrus Heights. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Ruvalcaba, her husband, Jon, their daughter, Kayla, and her brother, Tom Healy; Ron‘s children Kristofer, Klayton, Kacee, their spouses and eight grandchildren.

Barb was born in Sacramento on June 15, 1948, and raised in Citrus Heights. She graduated from San Juan High School and she became a devoted mother at a very young age. She worked for Marlene’s, a small independent woman’s clothing store where she worked her way into management. Barbra first met Ron in 1974 on an Amtrac (party) train to Reno and they reconnected 22 years later in July 1996. Barbra worked in the dental profession for 15 years before relocating to Sacramento to support Ron in his career in the equipment industry, and to be a stepmother to his three children.
