Patrick McGaughey

The next generation of equipment dealers will not be “joiners.” They will, however, remain industry supporters and purchasers of the features and benefits that associations offer if we incorporate the changes they demand. The social aspect of membership is being inverted by our next generation, and those who embrace these inevitable changes will be successful.

This interactive workshop is designed to help us look at the future before it gets here. It will answer the question, “What has my membership done for my lately? in five, short bulleted answers. Although memberships in associations may not be the thing it once was, it will always remain the only viable way of moving forward, as a unit, in industry.

Patrick McGaughey knows the ins, outs and in-betweens of association management, and will explain the ROI and value proposition of associations such as FWEDA. Known as a “Top 5 Enter-Trainer,” FWEDA annual convention attendees are sure to laugh a little and learn a lot during this presentation.
